George Hepworth began his Access career by creating tools to track sales for the self-study materials he and his former colleagues created and sold, and to manage the results of continuing education exams administered to licensees. Realizing that Access databases were more interesting and rewarding than writing training materials, he moved to full-time Access development soon thereafter. Being self-taught, George believes any day on which he doesn't learn at least one new thing is a day wasted.
George is a Senior Development Advisor for Advisicon, a project management and development organization in Portland, OR, creating Access and Access/SQL Server solutions for clients primarily in the Portland area. Previously, George founded and operated Grover Park Consulting, (www.GPCData.com) specializing in resuscitating "owner-built" Access databases for small and medium sized organizations.
In his spare time, George is part of the administrator team, and a regular contributor, at Utter Access, the most popular Access support site on the Internet. In recognition of his expertise and community support, George has been recognized as a Microsoft Access MVP.
