Rational XDE Developer .NET Edition
Rational XDE (Extended Development Environment) is a set of products that add modeling support to existing development environments. Rational XDE .NET Edition (shown in Figure 6.6) adds UML-based modeling support for Visual Studio .NET tools. The XDE product is an extension of the popular Rational Rose product; the key highlight is the tight integration with the Visual Studio .NET development tool for roundtrip engineering—develop the model, generate the code, develop the code, and reverse engineer the model.
