Changing the Size of a Picture

Your inserted picture doesn’t always look exactly right—the subject might be too far to one side, or the picture is too big or too small in proportion to the page. You can easily fix both problems: You can crop the picture to keep only the content you want, and you can decrease or increase the size of the picture.

Trim It

Click to select the picture if it isn’t already selected and to activate the Picture Tools Format tab.
On the Picture Tools Format tab, click the Crop button.
