The default page is where you want to have all your functionality. Typically, private Web sites allocate the functionality of logging in to a separate page called a Login page.
ASP.NET has several server controls that, without writing any code, can handle all the functionality of validating users of your site.
Start Visual Web Developer and open the PersonalPortal project. Right-click the PersonalPortal project in Solution Explorer and select Add New Item. (See Figure 4-28.)
