I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

I believe that if you are a middle manager, then you are in the best position to make a significant contribution and difference where you work— perhaps a better chance than those who have bigger titles and paychecks! The job is firmly in the thick of things and is, at its core, the only hope the organization has for getting a lot done. Middle managers are the blasters of dysfunction and they create the vibe of the culture.
