Chapter 5. Reuse
To be modular means you’ve constructed your components so they are flexible and can be reused. In application development, reuse is a deep, well-researched topic that has occupied the minds of many a software engineer. Designers appreciate reuse, too. However, if designers want to tackle the opportunities of component-based design, they must have a thorough knowledge of software features at their disposal. Armed with sophisticated capabilities, they can then employ more reuse techniques, and even evaluate whether a different tool may be more appropriate for their needs.
