I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Lighting has evolved continuously since the earliest days of film-making. Changes in the technology of lighting have strongly influenced filmmaking styles and procedures.
Lighting creates the environment for storytelling and we must never forget that at its heart, filmmaking is telling stories with pictures. The first lighting for storytelling was the fire. For some purposes, it is still nearly perfect. Firelight is warm and glowing, associated in the mind with safety, heat, and protection from nature.
