So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Teaching and learning the foundational concepts of multimedia entirely with printed words and illustrations is a great start, but the instruction only begins with Multimedia Foundations: Core Concepts for Digital Design. As I set out to write this book, I knew from the start that I did not want to write another how-to book that would become outdated in six months or less.
