Abstract
The integration of cybersecurity and blockchain technology is a promising strategy for improving digital defenses in today’s unstable digital environments. Blockchain’s decentralized nature, immutability, cryptographic methods, and transparency offer a strong barrier against unauthorized alterations or tampering, ensuring data integrity and preventing bad actors from modifying or tampering with sensitive information. The built-in cryptographic protocols ensure secure data transmission and storage. Blockchain technology also has the potential to transform cybersecurity in areas such as identity management and access control, allowing individuals to have more control over their personal information and reducing the risk of identity theft and illegal access. However, scaling, interoperability, and regulations remain challenging. The integration of blockchain and cybersecurity offers great promise for enhancing digital defenses, but it requires addressing the issues of scaling, interoperability, and regulation. Exploring the overlap between cybersecurity and blockchain is crucial for creating robust ...
