Abstract
The complicated legal issues of cybersecurity were examined in this comprehensive examination. This report summarizes cybersecurity legislation and regulations in the following sections. First, the legal framework of cybersecurity is explained, emphasizing the need for enterprises and people to understand and follow law. Investigating international cybersecurity laws and jurisdictions, including cross-border cyber events and the role of extradition, international treaties, and mutual legal aid programs in fighting cybercrime. This study discusses cyber liability and accountability, including legal frameworks that define cyber incident liability, third-party liability, and the cybersecurity duty of care. Employment laws and cybersecurity, including employee obligations, data protection, workplace privacy, and employer responsibilities and liabilities in the case of a breach, were examined. The legal environment of digital commerce is demonstrated by evaluating online transactions, electronic contracts, consumer protection, online platforms, and marketplace liability.
