Abstract
This chapter tries to develop a wristband for measuring the heart rate signal of an individual followed by some encryption techniques to secure the data during transmission to the cloud-based server. The hardware-level security provides privacy in the data from measurement to the cloud-based server, which is a vital part in the healthcare sector. The cloud-based platform consists of some sophisticated algorithms and machine learning techniques that analyze the heart rate data to provide valuable insights related to potential health issues as well as actionable information. This system can generate comprehensive reports and trends based on the collected data. This enables healthcare professionals to track an individual’s heart rate patterns over time, identify any recurring issues, and make informed decisions regarding treatment plans and interventions. Additionally, the system facilitates remote patient monitoring, allowing healthcare providers to remotely track patients’ heart rates, and reducing the need for frequent hospital visits.
