I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
2. Leadership and Corporate Culture
A strong corporate culture, like charisma, is hard to define. But we know one when we see one, and nowhere is that more apparent than at Southwest Airlines. Chairman and former CEO Herb Kelleher, who founded the Dallas, Texas-based airline more than 30 years ago, injected two core values into the firm right from the beginning: a light-hearted irreverence for bureaucracy and an emphasis on teamwork.
