Reflection of Light
The returning back of light in the same medium from which it has come after striking a smooth polished surface is called reflection of light. After reflection, velocity, wavelength and frequency of light remains same but intensity decreases.
Laws of Reflection
There are two laws for reflection of light from a smooth reflecting surface
