I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Bootstrapping OER
Once all the prerequisites have been fulfilled the next step is to Bootstrap OER as per the defined Strategy. There are broadly five steps required to complete this task:
- Harvest SOA Suite 11g and MDS production server using the Harvester through the command line.
- Harvest OSB using the OSB Harvester utility.
Tip
The OSB Harvester is available from within the OSB installation binaries and not from the OER binaries as is the case with SOA Suite or MDS.
- Submit all document Assets (such as Governance and Design Documents) using Asset Editor.
- Configure JDeveloper with the OER plugin, so that Assets can be discovered and registered from the IDE.
- OER may also be bootstrapped from OSR.
