The previous chapter demonstrated how composite services can be implemented through Service Bus projects, using Pipelines and Split-Join components. We welded several of these components together to realize the FlightScheduleService—using activities to validate messages, do parallel processing on parts of messages, and to call out to custom Java classes and local and remote web services.
