So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

From reading this book, and perhaps from trying out its processes, you know by now that the comforting simplicity of a house conceals an elaborate set of OD interventions. The framework’s apparent whimsy only intensifies clarity and the choices your clients must make. The world of work is cast in an energising, but unusual light. While the methods may appear overly playful before you start, they are not so slight once you and your clients are inside. With action methods, you are always put through something. Participants are not observers – they are players, making choices and standing by them.
