So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Ncrack
Ncrack is a powerful and fast password cracking tool designed to crack passwords for network-based services such as RDP, SSH, HTTP(S), SMB, pop3(s), VNC, FTP, and Telnet. With Ncrack, you can pull in a host list via NMAP or from a file. Plus, you have the ability to play around with different timing and performance settings, such as connection limits, retries, and timeouts. IPv6 is also supported, which is a great feature if your are attacking an IPv6 network. Here are the options for running ncrack. You will notice that there are a lot of options, as ncrack is an extremely powerful and customizable utility:
