Sometime in the mid-’80s, a smart guy in Berkeley, California, by the name of Ted Nace got a brainstorm. He decided to start up a computer book publishing company, which he called Peachpit Press (how he came up with the name is another story). The books he published were innovative and user-friendly and offered a fresh approach to learning computer graphics.
