
Acquiring the Photo
There are several ways to acquire photos from a digital camera, and as
you learned in Chapter 6, Adobe Bridge is one of them. I won’t repeat
that information here, but it is certainly a good way to get a photograph
into Photoshop. Other ways include the File>Import command, the
File>Open command, and the File>Import>WIA Support command (if
you are running Windows ME, XP, or Vista). Of course, you can also use
the camera’s own software package. You can decide which way you like
best after reading this chapter.
