Line Tool

The Line tool allows you to draw straight lines using the mouse. The

Line tool is located with the other shape tools and draws vector-based

lines. (You can toggle through the shape tools by pressing Shift+U.)

The Line tool is pretty intuitive; just choose it from the toolbox and

click and drag on the canvas to draw the line. Each time you draw a line

and let go of the mouse button, a new layer is created. This is true of the

other shapes too.

As with other tools, Style and Color can be selected from the options

bar, and there are options for drawing the lines. You can hold down the

Shift key while drawing to draw straight lines without any effort ...
