Jarred Ball, MS, is a certified law enforcement instructor in home-

land security for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. He has a master’s

degree in safety, security, and emergency management from Eastern

Kentucky University and has taught homeland security at the college

level. Ball has conducted antiterrorism risk and vulnerability assess-

ments of critical infrastructure for the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s

Office of Homeland Security.
