Criteria can be valued equally or weighted by the priority of the cri-
teria. For example, with two criteria, one being a statutory require-
ment and the other being good practice, the statutory requirement
may be given greater weight. Your scoring would give more weight to
the statutory criteria over the good practice criteria (see Figure4.3).
In Figure4.3, the example is for a lock that must meet three cri-
