So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

You can walk into almost any electronics store or large discount store and walk out with a really nice camcorder that will record directly to a DVD, digital tape format, or flash drive for about $500. Can you start making video projects? Yes! Will they look professional, like we see on TV? Probably not! Although these cameras can get some great shots, most of them work with automatic features that prevent you from having control over the video.
