A function is a defined set of logic that performs a specific task. Similar to many other programming languages, C/AL includes a set of prewritten functions that are available to us to perform a wide variety of different tasks. The underlying logic for some of these functions is hidden and not modifiable. These non-modifiable functions are supplied as part of the C/AL programming language.
