When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
User Interface
NAV 2017 user interface (UI) is designed to be role oriented (also called role tailored). The term role oriented means tailoring the options available to fit the user's specific job tasks and responsibilities. If user access is through one of the clients, the Role Tailored Client (RTC) will be employed. If the user access is via a custom-built client, the developer will have more responsibility to make sure the user experience is role tailored.
The first page that a user will see is the Role Center page. The Role Center page provides the user with a view of work tasks to be done; it acts as the user's home page. The home Role Center page should be tailored to the job duties of each user, so there will be a variety of Role Center ...
