How to do it...
In this recipe, we will segment a couple of images (the first one is a binary image and the second is a grayscale image) using scikit-image's morphological watershed implementation, by creating the markers in two different ways:
- By finding peaks in the Euclidean distance image
- By finding low-gradient regions in the gradient image
