It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Stop word removal has its purposes. It is helpful, as we will see in a later recipe where we create a word cloud (stop words don't give much information in a word cloud), but can also be detrimental. Many other NLP processes that deduce meaning based upon sentence structure can be greatly hampered by their removal.
