It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
6章ArcGIS Python API
ArcGISは、GISのグローバルリーダーであるEsri社が開発したクライアントソフトウェアとGISのスイートです。ArcGisはAPIとPythonパッケージが一体となったもので、ユーザはArcGIS OnlineまたはArcGIS Enterpriseでホストされている情報を照会することができます。オープンソースではありませんが、Esri社の業界におけるリーダーシップにより、無料でアクセスできるコンテンツやチュートリアルが数多く作成されています。ArcGIS Python APIを使ってアクセスできる学習リソース、アクセス可能なツール、情報をいくつか紹介します。ここでは、Jupyter NotebookとArcGIS Onlineを使用します。

ArcGISには、ArcGIS ProというデスクトップアプリケーションとArcGIS Onlineというブラウザベースのプラットフォームがあります。本章ではArcGIS OnlineをArcGIS Python APIで操作します。
6.1.1 ArcGIS Python APIで利用可能なモジュール
