Abstract

There are likely to be ethical risks if quantum computers are used more frequently and transition from research to commercial applications. These obstacles can be divided into those that undermine current safeguards, amplify current issues, and produce completely new classes of dangers. Instead of serving as a comprehensive list of all dangers, the following topics are designed to be viewed as illustrative of the different types of risks we could encounter.
