About the Author
David Ringstrom, CPA, is president of Accounting Advisors, Inc., an Atlanta-based spreadsheet and database consulting firm. David’s consulting work focuses on streamlining repetitive accounting tasks. He helps clients use software such as QuickBooks more effectively and creates automated tools in Microsoft Excel.
David spends much of his time teaching webinars on Microsoft Excel and occasionally QuickBooks. David also owns StudentsExcel, an online service that helps accounting professors teach Excel more effectively to their students. David has written freelance articles about spreadsheets and accounting software since 1995, some of which have been published internationally. David has served as the technical editor for more than three dozen books, including QuickBooks For Dummies, Quicken For Dummies, and Peachtree For Dummies. David is now the author or co-author of three books.
He resides in a historic neighborhood in Atlanta, Georgia, with his wife, Erin; his children, Rachel and Lucas; dogs, Ginger and Eddie; and cats, Ringo and Arlene Frances (Francie).
