So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Getting ready
In this section, we will create a sample Android application using Android Studio called EmbedApp. If you have a base Android application you would like to work with, you can skip these steps and proceed to the actual implementation:
- Open Android Studio and create a new project (File|New Project)
- Set the application name to EmbeddedApp and fill out your company domain. Press Next
- Leave Empty Activity selected as the default and press Next
- Leave the Activity properties as they are by default and press Finish
