It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter Seven. Output
No matter what your organizational and editing workflows are, it’s a safe bet that one of the last steps of your imaging process will be output. Whether you need electronic output, printed output, or some combination, Capture NX 2 provides fully color managed, easy-to-use output options.
Resizing
Whether you’re outputting your images to print or as digital documents, you’ll probably need to resize them. Today’s high pixel count cameras yield much more data than you need for most any electronic form of delivery, and unless you are printing very large prints, a 10+ megapixel camera produces files that are much larger than you need for printing out. Capture NX includes a few tools for resizing your images.
