Außerdem haben wir einige "Gemeinsame Prinzipien für skalierbare Dienste im Web" festgelegt, die uns bei der Auswahl und Definition der Rezepte für dieses Buch helfen sollen.
Ich habe auch einige Hintergrundinformationen(Kapitel 2) über einige der Schlüsseltechnologien und Designkonzepte gegeben, die das Web vorantreiben und die Inspiration für die hier aufgeführten Rezepte liefern. Wir hoffen, dass dieser geschichtliche Abstecher einen wertvollen Kontext für die Arten von Design und Implementierungen liefert, die den Rezepten hier zugrunde liegen.
