Chapter 9. RF/IF Circuits
This chapter provides that rare summary of many of the “other” parts in the RF/IF signal chain, including mixers, modulators, multipliers, log amps, power detectors, variable gain amplifiers, direct digital synthesizers, and phase-locked loops. It is a good chapter for understanding what happens to the output of the RF front end and how RF performance relates to the overall performance of a receiver.
