So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

- Rを自分のPCにインストールすると大量のドキュメントも一緒にインストールされます。ローカルドキュメントはもちろん読むこともできるし（レシピ1.7）、検索もできます（レシピ1.9）。Webを探してみたら、インストールされているドキュメントに既に答えがあることが多くて驚くでしょう。
- CRAN Task View
- CRAN Task View（http://cran.r-project.org/web/views）は、計量経済学、医療画像処理、心理測定学、空間統計学といった統計処理の分野に特化されたパッケージのことです。それぞれ分野の専門家が開発し、メンテナンスしています。現在35以上の分野があり、中には読者の関心がある分野もあるでしょう。すべての初心者が少なくとも自分に関係のある分野のページを一読することをお勧めします。Rの可能性について感覚的にわかってもらうためです（レシピ1.12）。
- パッケージドキュメント
