THE PERFORMANCE:

• Stand facing the audience with the robot to your left and

positioned ⁄" from the front edge of the performance

table (Figure

• Plug in the Arduino, take out the loose clown nose, place

it on your own nose, smile and bow to your audience

(Figure

).

• Point to your nose and then

to the robot’s. Slowly take

the clown nose off and start

trying to attach the nose to the

robot’s face. This is all pretend,

of course. It won’t stay. After

two or three attempts, allow the nose to “accidentally”

fall to the floor on your final failed attempt.
