Strategic culture has become more popular than once it was. Until early this century, strategic culture was a concept known and employed only by a few academics. What strategic culture means, what one can and cannot do with it, and how it plays in national and organizational strategic thought, planning, and actual behavior are the issues on which this chapter seeks to shed some light.
