It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
In this chapter, we delved into setting up and cleaning up state for real-world specs that interact with external services and local resources by extending our WeatherQuery example to address a big bug, isolate our specs from the Internet, and cleanly configure a Redis database to serve as a better cache.
In the following chapter, we'll learn more advanced examples of managing external service dependencies using smarter mocks and the VCR gem.
