What Twitter Offers You
Unlike almost any other API, Twitter exposes almost everything. Basically, if it’s on Twitter, there is an API for it. That includes account setup and customization information. This is one of the great approaches of Twitter—focusing on the network and allowing others to create applications on top, and you have that right out of the box. After you set up your account, you are ready to go with almost every function that Twitter offers. There are limits, of course.
