PART IIHOW TO SCALE CONVERSATIONS EFFECTIVELY
For the last ten years my team and I have been iterating on how to scale conversation effectively with thousands of leaders and millions of participants while uncovering research to help refine and explain what we're learning. As I mentioned in the book's introduction, the core insight of the game “35” was the foundation for learning how to scale the essential elements of a conversation to include the voices of everyone while levering the wisdom of the crowd:
- A safe place for diverse people to share independent thoughts
- A bias‐free method for everyone to evaluate thoughts one by one
- A fair process for all thoughts to be evaluated equally
- A method to understand what thoughts matter most
In Part II, I will explain and unpack each essential element. Then, I move on to consider the golden question: I know how to scale conversations, now, what questions should I ask? After consideration of who needs which questions asked and when, I'll address how to synthesize results. The book concludes by considering how to apply these ideas to create value by effectively tackling meaningful topics.
