Section 1. A Quick Look at eBay's Collectibles Categories

The collectibles category is big business on eBay. Actually, it's more than one category; collectible items are bought and sold in virtually every product category on the eBay site.

Of course, the majority of collectibles are organized on eBay's Collectibles Hub (collectibles.ebay.com), shown in Figure 1. The Collectibles Hub features more than three dozen major categories, from Advertising memorabilia to Vanity, Perfume, and Shaving collectibles—and everything in between. Each major category contains several key subcategories of collectibles, as detailed in Table 1.
