The Path to Transformation and Success
In this chapter, we'll discuss a basic reality about Transformation: the idea that changing the physical world requires concrete, physical action. We'll move on to discuss the idea that because success isn't stagnant, we can never rest on our laurels and stop growing.
By the end of the chapter, you'll be ready to take a look at the exercises that will help you transform ideas into actions, and you'll learn which stumbling blocks are likely to crop up and how best to avoid them.

I often say in my presentations that colleges do not have a PhD program for “Planning to Study Chemistry.” Our world does not recognize you for what you are planning to do but for what you have done. A friend works with a teacher who is famous on his campus for the mantra “I can't grade what you meant to do; I can only grade what you did.” The SHIFTS message emphasizes the need for sustainable change to start from the mind. However, you can't live out a dream that remains in your mind; you need action orientation to bring your invisible realities into physical manifestation. There is a legendary statement that says, “Nothing ventured, nothing gained.” I figure that many of us are much more successful in the intangible world than we are in the material world.
