PLANNING YOUR WEEK
Planning your week in advance will allow you to hit the ground running and complete everything you set out to achieve. Set aside some time on Sunday evening to work through the following list and set yourself up for a successful week ahead!
LOOK OVER YOUR WEEK AHEAD
Start off by reviewing your calendar and schedule. Take note of any important deadlines, meetings, appointments and tasks you need to complete, both at work and in your personal life. This will form the basis of the rest of your planning.
SET THREE WEEKLY GOALS
Setting weekly goals is a great way to set short-term challenges for yourself and boost your motivation throughout the week. The best way to set weekly goals is to look at your larger monthly or yearly goals and work towards achieving a smaller chunk of this bigger goal by the end of the week.
BRAIN DUMP
Next up is to spend five minutes brain dumping everything that you need to get done in the week ahead on a sheet of paper. This could be anything from finishing off a client report, to sending an email to Sarah or booking a dentist appointment. Getting it onto paper means you can add it to your to-do list and schedule it into your calendar.
