Abstract
Big data and analytics, particularly when combined with the use of cloud-based deployments, can transform the operation of an organization – increasing innovation, improving time to value and decision-making. However, an organization only derives value from data and analytics when (1) the collection of big data is organized, systematic and automated and (2) the use of data and analytic insight is embedded in the organization's day-to-day operation.
