Using Additional Ink Features on the Tablet PC

If you are running Word on a Tablet PC, you will find additional “ink” features that permit you to integrate handwriting more thoroughly into your day-to-day work.

NOTE

A Tablet PC is a computer running Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition. On a Tablet PC, “ink” refers to the writing or drawing strokes you make with a tablet pen (or, if you prefer, a mouse).

For example, you can

• Write or draw anywhere in a document—not just in text boxes—and then work with your text or drawing as you would work with any other graphic.

• Use a separate Ink Annotations layer to mark up an existing document by hand without ...
