So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
1.3 Target Audience
So, who exactly is this book for? First, the good news: you don’t need any significant experience in programming or relational databases to benefit from this book! We’ll go through an overview of relational databases and even provide guidance on how to set up a small exercise database on your personal computer, so you’ll be equipped with the technical framework to go through this book and develop your SQL skills.
There are some unavoidable prerequisites, though:
