When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
There are several people I’d like to thank for the support they provided me with this project. The first group, of course, is my family. My dad was my #1 hero, and although he was an accountant, I loved him anyway. My mom encouraged me to focus on academic excellence, to never settle, and to push boundaries. If you don’t like the content of this book, blame my mom. My sister was always a huge fan and supporter even though she has probably not read a word of my stuff. I still love her anyway! My brother, Marc, is the person to whom I dedicated this book. Marc has been my biggest fan, has read all of the books, has challenged me, encouraged me, and has even traveled internationally to hear me speak. All that, and he’s still there ...
