I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Preface
Strength of Materials deals with the study of the effect of forces and moments on the deformation of a body. The book has been designed in a simple and lucid manner. All topics follow a simple approach along with numerous solved and unsolved problems to explain the basics. To understand the concepts easily, lot many figures are provided in all the chapters. There are some intricacies in every chapter, therefore problems and exercises are framed in a fashion so that these intricacies are exposed and resolved. After every topic students are tempted to solve an exercise to gain confidence to have learnt the topic.
