In this book we have reviewed a broad range of planning frameworks to facilitate effectively managing and monitoring a supply chain. We began in Chapter 1 with a general introduction to hierarchical planning frameworks, and a description of their applicability to supply chain planning and operations management. Chapter 2 explored the opportunity to employ methodologies such as the Mission, Objective, and Strategy (MOS) framework to enhance a firm’s supply chain strategic planning process.
