This chapter presents four projects in the US designed by Ann Beha Architects (ABA) of Boston, Massachusetts, reflecting an intersection of building heritage and sustainability. Each is located on the campus of a private, not-for-profit academic institution. The first is a completed project at the University of Pennsylvania, the second a project currently in construction at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the third a completed project at the University of Chicago, and the fourth a master-planning and renovation project for Louis Kahn’s library building at Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire.
